Clean ingredients, clearly listed.
We believe you should feel confident about what you’re putting on your face. Below you’ll find our ingredient standards, our “No Ugly Ingredients” list, and product-by-product ingredient lists (INCI) so you can shop with clarity.
Our Ingredient Standard
We choose ingredients for performance and comfort, then keep formulas free from ingredients we consider “ugly” or unnecessary. If an ingredient doesn’t serve your skin, it doesn’t belong in the jar.
No Ugly Ingredients List
We aim to avoid (and continually review) ingredients like:
- Harsh drying alcohols (when used primarily for “feel” vs function)
- Unnecessary fragrance overload (especially in sensitive-skin products)
- Ingredients commonly associated with irritation for many users
- Anything that doesn’t align with our clean-focus philosophy
Note: If a formula includes fragrance or essential oils, we recommend patch testing.
Ingredient Glossary (Quick Guide)
- Glycerin – helps hydrate by drawing water to the skin.
- Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) – supports plump hydration.
- Niacinamide – helps support tone and barrier comfort.
- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – lightweight emollient from coconut.
- Tocopherol (Vitamin E) – antioxidant support.
How to Read INCI Lists
Ingredients are listed from highest to lowest concentration (usually until 1%, then order can vary). If you’re avoiding specific ingredients, scan from the top first.
If you have allergies or sensitivities, patch test new products and consult a professional if needed.
Find Ingredients by Product
Search by ingredient (example: glycerin) or product name (example: Sunflower Face Scrub).
